About

We are I love Praag / I Love Krakow, a young Dutch, English, and German tour operator offering guided walks and open-air museum-style tours across Prague, Krakow, Brno, Cesky Krumlov and Bratislava. We started I Love Praag because we love these European capitals and wanted to bring together a club of the most experienced local guides. Many of our guides have more than 10 years of experience giving tours in Prague, Krakow, or Bratislava and previously worked for the largest tour operators in their cities. After feeling out of place elsewhere, they embraced a new challenge sharing their knowledge on the streets.

Why did you start I Love Praag?

We started because we love these European capitals and wanted a different approach to guiding visitors. Many guides had felt out of place at larger firms and joined to take on a new, shared challenge.

De gids Alaa deed een aantal stops aan die we anders niet hadden tegengekomen. Zijn uitleg was kort. Door er zelf naar te vragen wisten we dat hij niet afkomstig was van Praag maar er wel woont. Er was weinig interactie met de groep. Voor de toer start even elkaar voorstellen is altijd leuk zodat je dan weet waar iedereen vandaan komt

We hebben einde van de middag met huig een tour gedaan. Hij heeft alles goed verteld en veel achtergrond informatie gegeven. We zijn bij veel bezienswaardigheden geweest (bijv. De Charles brug, de kerstmarktjes, universiteit, de klok, de markt van de beste typische koekjes en nog meer). We konden alles vragen en hij had overal antwoord op. Echt een aanrader!

Onze gids Julka was zeer goed op de hoogte van de geschiedenis van Praag, werd ook met veel enthousiasme overgebracht. We waren een kleine groep dus alles verliep zeer vlot! Een aanrader!
